Martin Sjardijn

Initiator of the HCAK - Haags Centrum voor Actuele Kunst.

Member of Ubique group with Thomas van Putten, Wim Nijenhuis, Jouke Verlinden.

Since 1998 he has been developing an Art and Educational Project using interactive 3D technology with vrml commisioned by the Groninger Museum in the Netherlands. His main project is the Weightless Sculpture Project, which he began in 1985 with the concept "A Line in Outer Space - Visible from earth - With the naked eye - At clear nights."
This project is still under development and waiting for its realization in space.

Since 2010 working on a spin-off project "Elements" supported by the The Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts
